The Sony Xperia Sola doesn’t really require you to touch its screen. It features floating touch technology which simply needs you to hover your finger over the touchscreen of the device. This will reduce germs from sticking on the screen of your phone.
But on the other side, hovering over the touchscreen might slow down your operation of the device, as we’re used to hitting the touchscreen with fingers and getting haptic feedback to ensure that we’ve actually pressed or tapped on something.
The Sony Xperia Sola itself is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread device which will have chance to be upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS. It packs a 3.7-inch Reality Display, a 1GHz dual-core processor and offers NFC support.
